Selecting Fabrics:
* Use odd number, 3 or 5, different fabrics
* first a bold, large print with more than two colors in it
* Second, smaller scale geometric, or stripe, or plaid
* Third, a tone on tone which reads as a solid
* Use two or three colors when mixing fabric patterns, pick these from the main fabric
* Don’t mix formal and informal fabrics
* Choose the same tone or intensity of color when mixing fabrics
* Vary the scale of fabric patterns
* Analogous colors work better than complimentary, which work better than triadic
